Peaceful Conversations in the Workplace

What causes us to stereotype and blame? What obstructs even the most well-intended communication? Lively experiments and hands-on practice guide the audience through the principles of R.E.L.A.X. to smooth the way to peaceful conversations at work in spite of our individual and cultural differences. With psychological obstacles removed and hands-on practice in diverse speech styles, business communications with colleagues will be transformed.

•Music of the Night... “When you wish upon a star…”

Under starlit skies on the bow of a ship or at a spa, you will find yourself singing along and likely dreaming a little as you engage in the music of the night and the songs that bring our dreams out to play. With guitar, keyboard or acapella, international vocalist, author and speaker, Dr. Gail Robinson will entice all to sing along or just listen to the music of the night.

A taste of language for Ports of Cali:  Spanish, French, or English

Robinson’s landmark book, English Through Song, introduced the world to using music for adult language learning. Using innovative and entertaining techniques, including music, passengers learn enough basic Spanish, French or English to make friends, communicate with staff and meet locals in ports of call for their most practical needs. Shipmates may even find themselves singing “Sur le pont, d’Avignon,” as they cross the famous bridge of Avignon.
